I’m pretty minimal when it comes to hand care products. I didn’t even start using hand cream regularly until about a year ago! After some trial and error, I finally found a few good hand creams that are moisturizing while not leaving my hands forever slippery. And good thing — these products have really come in handy (see what I did there?) lately given the current worldwide situation. I’ve always really loved washing my hands, but now I’m washing them even more. We all are. So, I’m not only including my favorite hand creams but also my go-to hand soap and hand sanitizers (products that are so important right now for obvious reasons) in this list of my favorite hand care products. Enjoy!
Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm
This is my favorite hand cream by far. It provides the moisture needed to condition the skin without leaving my hands greasy. Plus I feel very bougie every time I use it. As someone who is sensitive to smells I love the scent, which is big for me since I usually favor unscented products. I have a tube in my hand bag at all times, as well as full-size bottle next to my bed. I put it on my hands before bed every night to maintain moisture, especially since I live in a dry climate and I’m a big fan of washing my hands. (Pro tip — before bed, put it on your feet too!)
This hand cream is amazing! It has a bunch of superstar ingredients like shea butter and hyaluronic in the formulation to thoroughly nourish the skin. I prefer the fragrance-free version which still smells gently comforting and creamy. This is my go-to when my hands are really needing some love. The thick texture is a treat for the hands.
ShiKai Borage Therapy Hand Cream
A cheap option for those of you who need a hand cream in every bag (I feel you)! It will not leave your hands greasy, has no scent, and moisturizes well. You can’t go wrong with this solid choice.
This product makes taking care of my cuticles effortless. My nail beds are stronger and my cuticles are more hydrated when I use this consistently. I have one in every bag and by my bed to use at night. The foam tip applicator makes it easy to apply and won’t leave your fingers oily or messy. I can even go right back to typing after using this!
Method Free+Clear Gel Hand Wash
My favorite hand soap to keep in the bathroom at home. The refill pouches allow for more usage and less waste. Like I mentioned before, I am picky when it comes to fragrance so I prefer to use fragrance-free to keep it easy. This hand soap does the job and isn’t too drying on the skin.
We all know sunscreen is the best for anti-aging. In the morning and throughout the day when I’m applying and reapplying sunscreen, I like to make sure I get the backs of my hands for extra protection. This Beet Shield is my pick because it doesn’t leave a greasy or sticky texture behind on the skin.
This is a hand sanitizer I really love using. I like to have the .33 fl oz. size in my bags with me at all times, for whenever I might need it. The lavender scent does not give me a headache and I know the ingredients are quality.
