5 Luxury Products That Have Stayed On My Wishlist in 2020

It’s an add to cart situation.

As a self-confessed makeup lover, I am constantly enamoured by new, shiny, pretty objects to put on my face. Maybe it’s the anticipation and curiosity of finding a new potential holy grail lipstick (muted red please…I’m extremely specific)? Perhaps it’s the excitement that comes with the satisfying click of a brand new compact. Maybe it’s simply scrolling and browsing new releases (it’s a proven method of stress relief, I swear!) Whatever it is, the result is an ever expanding wish list of highly desirable products. Even if they are out of my financial comfort zone, it’s okay! Making an imaginary wish list of products can be fun as well. Scroll below for the 5 luxury products that have stayed on our wish lists in 2020!

Byredo Eyeshadow Palette in Sciomancer

From the editorial shoots to the slick packaging, everything about Byredo’s new makeup range just screams out “cool as f*ck”. The colour sticks are already a fast favourite of mine — super blendable multi-purpose creamy pigment in an array of not-so-typical shades are the way to my heart! However, it’s their latest release which truly stands out. These gold sculptured eyeshadow palettes are a work of art alone, but the five rich, creamy electric shades are something very special.

Herbivore Prism Exfoliating Glow Facial

Fact: Herbivore Products are gorgeous to look at. (I mean, look at this one, it’s practically a unicorn in a jar) Another fact: they are crafted with all natural, organic, food grade ingredients. The Prism Exfoliating Glow Facial is powered by smoothing and softening AHAs and BHA’s, along with a hydrating boost of aloe vera and rose water. It’s the perfect end of 2020 treat for your skin (it’s been through enough this year).

Rouge Hermès Matte Lipstick

It’s important to note that this lipstick is $67. Yes, it’s a hard pill to swallow. However, at the risk of sounding dramatic, everything (bar the price) about this product is perfection, including the minimalist, colour-block refillable packaging, and the selection of satin and matte shades. 33 Orange Boîte definitely has my name on it.

D.S. & Durga Portable Fireplace Candle

A list of luxury products would be incomplete without at least one chic candle pick. If there’s one fragrance and candle brand that sparks up interest, it’s Brooklyn based perfumery D.S. & Durga. The packaging, illustration, and music references alone are highly appealing. I’ll take the Portable Fireplace Candle if that’s ok please? Smoky, woody and comforting — I’m here for it!

Westman Atelier Lip Suede

Is this an incredibly beautiful, ultra luxe pad of ink or the most aesthetically appealing lip palette of the year? Both, I say! Gucci Westman’s highly desirable range is your go-to for decadent clean beauty but the prices truly reflect the decadent aspect off the range. Lip Suede consists of four matte velvety berry shades which you can just tell are going to melt seamlessly onto lips and mix together beautifully. And would you just look at that glossy red compact? I need it in my life!
